Samsung Galaxy Note 7 – The king of Samsung phones 2016
Samsung is not news to us when it comes to making high-end killer devices, especially in particular the Samsung Galaxy family; from the top end Galaxy Note and S-series to the mid-range A-series, budget J-series and many more. Samsung being one of the big boys in the smartphone market. Apple is arguably the only real competition Samsung has to face.
All 2016 Samsung phones run the Android OS v6.0 (Marshmallow) with the TouchWiz UI overlaid, running the same Samsung, Google and Microsoft apps. But the higher the ranges, the more the extra features – Smart stay, Pop-up View and Multi-Window and so on.
Now taking a peep at the very best phone Samsung has released this year; a lot of minds might want to opt for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. But no! The company's very latest device in their lineup is being crowned the king of the family – Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a phablet – a device combo of a smartphone and tablet, with a 5.7-inch screen with Super AMOLED display, and a crystal clear Quad-HD resolution and Samsung's exclusive edge feature. The dual-edge screen, which is protected by the new Corning Gorilla glass 5, is used to display notifications and provide shortcuts to your most recently used apps.
Octa Exynos 8890 processor and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM is the platform adopted by this phoneline, which is the hardware used in the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, is the same one used in the Galaxy Note7. So the expected performance of this phablet should be as good as the S7 edge or even more better.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 comes with 64GB of internal storage, and there's also expandable storage up to 256GB of additional storage via a microSD card. An iris scanner for extra secure logins, and a reversible USB-C for charging and data transfer is also being featured. There's also an exclusive S Pen stylus feature. With both the device and the stylus coming as water-resistant, and has an IP rating of 68.
Just like its processor, the Note 7 follows through the path of the S7 with its camera, featuring a 12Mp Dual Pixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 5Mp front-facing camera.
