iPhone 7 vs iPhone 6s Specs Comparison

iPhone-6S-vs-iPhone-7

The iPhone 6s is already known as a very awesome device coming from Apple. And the iPhone 7 being rumored to surface by September, and it will be coming with an exclusive 3 GB of RAM. We all know that the iPhone 5 and 5s featured 1 GB of RAM each, and the iPhone 6 and 6s featured 2 GB of RAM (the first Apple phones to do so).

As reports have it, the iPhone 7 will still be with the same design as the iPhone 6s, but with an enhanced internal hardware. Apple is expected to bring on an improved RAM of 3 GB on iPhone 7, which has never been featured on any Apple mobile device.

The iPhone 6s featured major improvements compared to its younger brothers; with a bigger RAM, and the inclusion of 3D Touch technology in the display panel. In order for Apple to make huge sales with the iPhone 7, a lot of improvements and new cool softwares will be needed, since consumers will not want something new and expensive in the market if it’s still looking like the previous one – the iPhone 6s. Improvements like the camera abilities – a dual-lens camera and improved video.

Looking at the specifications, you can expect a bettered speedy performance in the iPhone 7, with its A10 processor, compared to the iPhone 6s. And as a result of a no real change in the design of both devices, Apple may have to have an improved internal feature like the RAM being stepped up to 3 GB in the iPhone 7. With the storage, Apple will be opting for nothing less than 32 GB, meaning there would be no 16 GB iPhone 7 available, and we can have up to a whooping 256 GB storage iPhone.

One of the biggest change is the ports. Yeah, it is almost affirmed that there will be no headphone jack port available in the iPhone 7, with its users expected to use the Lightning port or Bluetooth headphones. Smart Connector, found on the iPad Pro like and allows smart accessories like keyboards to be attached, could be adopted in the iPhone 7.

The design still remains almost the same in both Apple mobiles, except for the antenna bands at the back of the iPhone 6s, moved to the top on the iPhone 7. Earlier on the year, the Internet was baffled when a video surfaced of the iPhone 6s surviving 30 minutes underwater, which is strikingly surprising. But it is also reported that the iPhone 7 will be properly certified as a waterproof device.

The 3D Touch is common to both devices, but an upgrade is expected on the iPhone 7 – making it sensitive to more than two types of pressure inputs. Coming with a bigger display resolution of 2560 x 1440, an AMOLED display could come along too.

The cameras in the iPhone 6s & 7 will be pretty much the same, the only major upgrade is a dual lens rear camera.

Finally, it’s very much fair to say the iPhone 7 will be a better device but is it really worth moving from the 6s to 7 as a consumer? Prior to the release of the iPhone 7 come September, we hope the internal specs will be good enough to wow the world.
